Glenn Martin 139 WH-1ML-KNIL

4 out of 5 stars
Product: 1/46 Martin 139WH Argentine Air Force Paper Model
Posted on June 6, 2025 by Nico Wals

Nice subject. But this isn't an Argentine Glenn Martin. This one served in the Duch Indies for the ML-KNIL. (Militaire Luchtvaart van het Koninklijk Nederlands-Indisch Leger) In English: The Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force. M510 C.Nr.673, Singos Air Field, Java 1942. Did an emergency landing in the sea near Biliton on 01-25-1942. The model represents a 139 WH-3. Which is wrong. M510 is a 139 WH-1 with two canopies instead of the ''greenhouse'' of a WH-3. 4 stars. A 5 star if the model had the correct registration number.
