This kit builds B-24D Liberator “Teggie Ann” – The Liberandos. Another veteran of the 1943 “Ploiesti Raids”, Teggie Ann operated as the “lead” aircraft in the attacks on the German Oil refineries located in Romania. Teggie Ann, formerly named Honey Chile, successfully returned from that mission carrying Brigadier General Uzal G. Ent, one of the original planners of Operation Tidal Wave.
This kit is a derivative of Marek’s 1/50 scale Liberator model and features many new upgrades and modifications, including detailed repainting, weather texturing and photo-realistic effects.
The B24 B24A B24D C87 LB30 assembled model has a wingspan of about 26″.
