This paper model is a repaint, originally designed by Marek, has been repainted to represent the Supermarine Spitfire FR Mk III in service with the Royal Naval Air Force assigned to 807 Naval Air Squadron for the Fleet Air Arm aboard aircraft carrier HMS Hunter operating from Singapore during 1945. This aircraft, serial number NN300, was identified by D5-0 on the fuselage.
