Description
THIS KIT IS A REISSUE OF A PREVIOUS ECARDMODELS.COM LISTING
This Thaipaperwork kit designed by Nobi has been repainted by 3Turner to depict two vesions of the Bell XP-59 Airacomet. One version representing the XP-59 traded to the RAF in exchange for a Meteor III, the first operational combat jet of the Allies, in the RAF test scheme of day-fighter camouflage over bright yellow. The second version has two options for the builder; a bare-metal finish with Smokey Stover noseart that the aircraft wore in U.S. service, or Smokey Stover in a white textures for printing on silverized cardstock.
