Description
The Mitsubishi Ki-51 is design for Imperial Japanese Air Force for Cooperation and assault missions. The plane is a scaledown of Ki-30 bomber. Called Sonia by Allies, Ki-51 have debut in last stages of Sino-Japanese War. The simplicity make a ideal aircraft to operated in front line airfields. Used in WWII until the final defeat of Japan.
The 1/100 scale model is a repaint from Scissors and Planes model represent a donated aircraft – Aikoku 569 (Kyushu Confectionery), Hiko Dai 44 Sentai, China Area, 1943.
