1/100 Boeing B-17F “Spotted Cow” Paper Model

Description

This repaint by Texman Recolors of the Scissors & Planes B-17F represents an
aircraft marked in service with the 384th Bomb Group,  Eighth Air Force.
The aircraft, formerly known as “Patches 2” was retired from combat and repainted
in the scheme shown, to be used as a group assembly ship.  The assembly aircraft
would orbit the airbase (RAF Grafton Underwood) to allow the aircraft assigned there
to form up on the ship before heading on the bombing mission.
