Description
This model builds up into a nice model of the Lagoon triggerfish. It is very similar in habits to the closely related Reef triggerfish of Hawaiian fame, or humuhumunukunukuapua’a. Both are found in shallow water and are easily seen by snorkelers. They hide if feeling threatened in holes in the coral “rocks” and wedge themselves in safely with their forward trigger- like dorsal fin. If touched they grunt audibly. The Lagoon trigger is more territorial and likes a little different habitat than the reef trigger that prefers surge areas where all the little tangs forage.
This model includes on sheet of model and 2 sheets of illustrated instructions. It is a simple model to build.
