Description

1:148 scale (British N scale) model of a British Class 414 electric multiple unit in the colours of BR blue and grey. The British Rail Class 414, also known as the 2 HAP, is one of the Mark 1 family and was designed in the late 1950s for the busy commuter lines in Kent and south-east London. With manual ‘slam doors’, single toilet and no connection between units, they were a basic but reliable workhorse which remained in service until 1995.
This kit builds in a British N-scale model of 2-car unit 4302 in the ‘toothpaste’ colours of Network Southeast, used from the mid 1980s until withdrawal. The kit has been carefully designed for a smooth building experience and features:

– Full instruction diagrams as well as text instructions with clear part labelling
– Slotting support former system
– Optional extra detail parts for roof and wheel sections
– High-detail vector graphics with light weathering based on photo documentation
– Display track sections

Difficulty level 3/5 (some small parts)

Model measures approx L27cm x H4cm x W3cm. Note that product photos show the same model in a different colour scheme, all other kit details are identical.
