Description

1:148 scale model of a British Class 159 diesel multiple unit in the colours of Network Southeast. The British Rail Class 159, also known as the ‘South Western Turbo’, was designed in the late 1980s for long-distance work from London to the south west of England. They were introduced to provide fast and modern trains on regional routes over longer distances and are a reliable and comfortable type that are still in regular service today.
This kit builds in a N-scale model of 3-car unit 159013 in the colours of BR subdivision Network Southeast during the 1990s. The kit has been carefully designed for a smooth building experience and features:

– Full instruction diagrams as well as text instructions with clear part labelling
– Slotting support former system
– Optional extra detail parts for roof and wheel sections
– High-detail vector graphics with light weathering based on photo documentation
– Display track sections
