Description
1:148 scale model of a Class 158 diesel multiple unit. The British Rail Class 158, also known as the ‘Express Sprinter’, was designed in the late 1980s and 180 were built between 1989-1992. They were introduced to provide fast and modern trains on regional routes over longer distances and are a reliable and comfortable type that are still in regular service today.
This kit builds in a N-scale model of 2-car unit 158770 in the colours of operator East Midlands Railway, in a mixed colour scheme which includes elements of two previous operators. The kit has been carefully designed for a smooth building experience and features:
– Full instruction diagrams as well as text instructions with clear part labelling

– Optional extra detail parts for roof and wheel sections
– High-detail vector graphics with light weathering based on photo documentation
