Description

1:148 scale model of a British Class 158 diesel multiple unit in the early livery of East Midlands Railway. The British Rail Class 158, also known as the ‘Express Sprinter’, was designed in the late 1980s and 180 were built between 1989-1992. They were introduced to provide fast and modern trains on regional routes over longer distances and are a reliable and comfortable type that are still in regular service today.
This kit builds in a N-scale model of 2-car unit 158774 in the colours of operator East Midlands Railway, in early transitional white livery with orange doors. The kit has been carefully designed for a smooth building experience and features:

– Full instruction diagrams as well as text instructions with clear part labelling
– Slotting support former system
– Optional extra detail parts for roof and wheel sections
– High-detail vector graphics with light weathering based on photo documentation
– Display track sections
