Description

The Fuji T-1 is a jet trainer aircraft that was developed and produced in Japan.
The development of the Fuji T-1 began in the early 1950s as Japan sought to establish a domestic aviation industry. It was designed by the Japanese company Fuji Heavy Industries, now known as Subaru Corporation.
The T-1 entered service with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in 1958.
