1/50 B24D Liberator Lady Be Good Paper Model

Description

This kit builds B-24D Liberator Lady be Good. One of the most famous aircraft of WW2, Lady be Good was believed lost at sea after failing to complete a mission into Italy in 1943. Bad weather and poor visibility blinded the crew allowing them to overshoot their base and fly deep into the Libyan desert.  Finally running out of fuel, the aircraft crashed, mostly intact, into the barren desert. Most of the Crew had already safely parachuted from the doomed aircraft only to lose their lives trying to survive in the 130 degree heat.
The wreckage of the aircraft and ordeal of the crew was not discovered for almost 16 years.

This kit is a derivative of Marek’s 1/50 scale Consolidated B-24 Liberator model and features many new upgrades and modifications, including detailed repainting, weather texturing and photo-realistic effects.

The B24 B24A B24D C87 LB30 assembled model has a wingspan of about 26″.
Contains approx. 300 parts
13 pages includes cover page, assembly Instructions and diagrams
and 10 pages of full colour printable parts.
This is a medium to advanced skill level kit.
