Paper Model Details: 30 parts on two pages, with diagram instructions. Integral tabs, layered prop, boxed wheels. Degree of Difficulty: 2/5

With the profile of the Globe Swift resembling a Curtiss P-40, the paint scheme on this Globe Swift model is intended to remember those who flew and maintained AL194 in WW2 Canadian coastal protection and in the Aleutian campaign. From an RAF order placed in May 1940, this Curtiss Model 87 Kittyhawk was diverted to RCAF No. 111 (F) Squadron to Stations Sea Island and Patricia Bay, BC. It also operated against the Japanese in Alaska 1942/43 coded as LZ-V still carrying the RAF serial number.
