Description

THIS KIT IS A REISSUE OF A PREVIOUS ECARDMODELS.COM LISTING

Built during the 1920s and 1930s, the Farman F.190 served as a utility aircraft for various civil and military operators. The Farman F.190 was a high-wing monoplane featuring an enclosed cabin to serve as a civil transport. The F.190 had fixed undercarriage and a tailskid. Serving as a civil transport, the F.190 could only carry four passengers operating in France, Portugal, Romania and Yugoslavia.

This Farman F.190 model is truly unique. It is the first model of this aircraft available, from any medium, which has been designed and released by Contour Creative Studio!

This model represents the Farman F.190 painted as aircraft #F-AIYD which was the livery of the Jazz band “Columbia Orchestra Alexander” while on the ‘Tour de France Aerien’ during the summer of 1933. During the evening stops, the band played music in the local venues.
