First built in 1947, the DHC-2 Beaver is thought by many to be the ultimate Bushplane. 1692 were built in Downsview, Ontario ending production in 1967. Many Beavers are still earning their keep in the rugged north.
Model scheme: De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver, CF-GQZ is serial number 75. This model depicts this aircraft in the late 1960’s or the early 1970’s when it was flying for Harrison Airway Ltd in Vancouver, BC.
