Description
The Rothmans Aerobatic Team flew from 1970 to 1973. It was constituted of 4 Stampe until 1972 then by Pitts S2.
The Stampe n°2 is the only one of the 4 to be powered by a Renault 4-P03 engine (S.V.4c), the others are powered by Gipsy major G.M.Xa engines (S.V.4b).French built, it went out of factory in 1950.
The team had two different shemas for the design. The scheme proposed is the one in use in 1972.
