Air Racing Mustangs compete in various racing categories as “stock” aircraft or extensively modified for extreme speed and manoeuverability.
Miss Suzi-Q (Race #33) evolved from exUSAF #44-74756, and competed as a “Modified Racer” in the 1970s.
Decorated with a colorful paint scheme that paid tribute to many WW2 Fighter aircraft, the plane (and pilot Ken Burnstine) were lost in an air racing accident in 1976.
