The British RAF was the first Air Force to operate the Mustang and the first Mustangs were built to British requirements.
These aircraft were designated by their Factory “Marks” 1 and 2. P51 B and C models were converted in 1943 to be Mark 3
models and were used right through to the end of the war (WW2) alongside Mark 4s and 5s (converted P-51Ds and Ks).
This paper model builds Mustang Mk III FZ190 of the Canadian RCAF (RAF) 441 Fighter squadron.
The RCAF 125 Squadron was converted to 441 squadron and transferred to Lincolnshire England in 1944
and operated in England, France and Belgium for the remainder of World War 2.
