1-33 North American SNJ (T-6 Texan) Blue Angels Beetle Bomb
Formed in 1946, the Navy Flight Exhibition Team (later renamed the Blue Angels) debuted in Florida flying Grumman F6F-5 Hellcats and the demonstration included one SNJ Texan. Originally painted as a Japanese Zero aircraft, the SNJ was later repainted in the yellow and blue paint scheme.
