NZ1076 is a long time surviving veteran of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
Beginning RAF/RNZAF service in 1944, 1076 also flew with the Red Checkers Aerobatic team in the mid 1970s.
Retired in 1978, the aircraft was sold and survives today in restored flying condition.
