Separate from Texans, Harvard Mks I and II were built in Canada, by Noorduyn Aviation, under license from North American to existing North American Texan specifications.
After World War II, Canadian Car & Foundry company of Thunder Bay Ontario, built Harvard Mk.IVs for the RCAF and other countries with some minor changes from the North American version.

Royal Canadian Navy 825 operated as a Training aircraft in southern Ontario Canada during the 1950s and 60s.
This particular model is in honour of Canadian serviceman Pat Galt who flew this aircraft while training with VC-921 Squadron (attached to HMCS Cataraqui) operating at Norman Rogers Airport in Kingston Ontario (#31 Service Flying Training School for the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy).
