Description
The USAF Convair B-58 Bomber first flew in 1956 and was retired in 1970. Powered by four J79 jet engines, the large delta wing aircraft was capable of sustained flight well above Mach 2. Originally designed to carry a single Nuclear Bomb, it was later modified to receive four additional wing mounted weapons. The B58 was replaced by the F-111 Aardvark.
