1/32 Bf-109E Japanese Evaluator Paper Model

Description

THIS KIT IS A REISSUE OF A PREVIOUS ECARDMODELS.COM LISTING

This paper model portrays a German Messerschmidt Bf-109E “Emil” which was loaned to the Japanese Army for flight testing and evaluation. Five aircraft were delivered unarmed, and while initially painted in the standard Luftwaffe fighter camouflage of the time, the aircraft were painted with Japanese insignia and markings. While in Japanese service the Emils directly influenced the development of Kawasaki’s Ki-61 Hien and were used for evaluation against existing Japanese fighters and captured Alllied aircraft.
