1/100 scale F-15A Eagle “Satellite Killers” Bundle

Description

This product contains two model repaints of Scissors & Planes 1/100 scale F-15A Eagles

Each models bears the following marking of the two F-15s that were used for conducting Anti-Satellite trials using the ASM-135 Anti-Satellite Missiles:

– Serial no. 76-0084, named the “Celestial Eagle”, flown by Maj. Wilbert “Doug” Pearson when he successfully destroys the Solwind P78-1 satellite when he fired the ASM-135 at 38,100 feet on September 13, 1985.

– Serial no. 76-0086, flown by Maj. Ralph Filburn, who successfully launched an Inert ASM-135 towards the outer space on January 21, 1984.
