Description
Nieuport Delage series of sesquiplanes designed in France in late 1920’s. Is a mainly front line fighters for many years in France. These first production specimen, the NiD 42C1. Only 65 units of this series were produced, which is characterized by having a slightly smaller stabilizer, wooden fuselage and constant wing chord. Only France operationally used this variant from 1928 to 1932 and was replaced by improved NiD 62 and 622.
The model represent a Armeé de l’ Air machine represent a Nº 23 production aircraft allocated in 5 Escadrille, 34 RAM (SPA31) with military registration R-354 in Le Bourguet in 1930.
