Like several pilot/observer teams in No. 20 Sqn. 2/Lts. David Weston and Walter Noble had great success in bringing down single seat fighter aircraft. Weston scored thirteen victories with Noble and another observer while Noble was credited with twelve victories with Weston and two other pilots. Noble was the author of a book relating his experiences during the war.
